I do not believe you need to drop everything and put yourself in a state of desperation around money. And so, I am very much an advocate for making the transition without all that panicked emotion, hence you start up a side hustle and grow the income steadily and quickly until you are able to leave the job/business forever.

That is precisely what I did - I transitioned from Pharmacist to Business Owner steadily and within 18 months, I was informed by my coach that I could now leave my job - I did not even notice that i had built up my income that much because I was focused on what i was doing, not on a desperate need to make money now. Unless, you feel a specific calling to leap away from the stable income, the leap clouds judgement and you need all your wits about you when getting a business off the ground so lets build a solid SIDE HUSTLE and transition into it being your full time gig, if you so desire.
